Saw this clip from Futurama and decided this was a good time to post about it. An inconvenient truth is that the earth is an ever changing ecosystem. One theme of the future in sci-fi is what this tale tells us of. Cities under glass, communal living, the agro farmer with the smart house... this tale told of global climate change is the basis for a lot of sci-fi and anime. Take the time to watch it. It's a hard film to turn away from once it is on.

My GMF unit is called "The Harbingers"
We are The Harbingers of "_______". We can change the name to reflect we we would like to bring you. Don't make us want to bring you the worse things. Sometimes we are the Harbingers of Pizza, sometimes the Harbingers of Doom, but usually just The Harbingers.
Harbingers in days long past were a unit designed to gather food, lodging, and entertainment for troops entering battle from a close town, harbor, or hamlet. We like to gather together and eat, drink, and be merry... usually by gaming and activities. We do not as yet have a specific day of the month nor a time we gather, but we are always looking for new recruits to learn to be Harbingers. We also have a link at the bottom of this page to find our group and other groups like it.
If you join this group located in Yahoo territory you will be able to contact us and see activities on our calendar there, as well as join us for online chats. If you are interested in the idea of our group, but do not wish to join yahoo, just email me at the addy in the header of the page and we will write or speak together soon.
